Welcome to my website. My name is Margaret, and my passion is writing. I wrote my first story at age four, and since then I’ve never quit. After emigrating from England to the USA, I adopted four loveable children.
Here, for your entertainment, is a micro-memoir I wrote about an incident that happened when my son was a baby.
My life has been full of adventure, with many challenges along the way. As a child, I was a tomboy with a stubborn streak. My earliest memories are of fervent wishes to be treated the same as the little boys I played with. As I grew, I yearned for the chance to pursue a career of my choice, rather than being restricted to the few that were considered suitable for girls.
Eventually, that desire led me to emigrate to the USA, whose constitution I admired so much. I am happy in my adopted country and grateful for the opportunity to return to England from time to time so that I can meet with friends and relatives.
